OOPS! Big time

Hi everyone, I wish I knew how to reach everyone who has already downloaded. While making more previews I discovered that I had made some huge errors in the sizes while saving a few of the papers. I’m so sorry! The errors have now been corrected and the new file for the papers reflects the corrections. If you’re coming back, please download the papers file again and you should be all set. Please email me if you have any problems at all.

Here’s a closer look at what’s in the kit. Don’t forget the add on will be up on the 15th. Download the kit in the post below this one.

Free Christmas Kit

This is my contribution to this years Worldwide Christmas Scrapbooking Freebies.
Are you baking goodies to give this year or receiving them? Then this kit is the one to use to scrap your photos. There are also some traditional Christmas papers and elements.  I’m one of the lucky ones – my husband is a piano teacher and we always receive the best baked goodies from his students!

I’m not really done with this kit and there will be an add on.  Come back in a couple of weeks and I’ll have an alpha, more word art elements and not sure what else. I have lots in the works still, just not sure how much I’ll have time to finish. Here’s the quick preview – more previews to come tomorrow so you can get a better look.

Now that you’re hungry, grab a cookie and hop on to the next blog. All freebies are listed on the main blog (just click on the logo to go there ) and there’s previews for each one. Have fun and have a wonderful holiday!

Free Halloween Kit and another train

Believe it or not it’s here! Fall and time to think about all the little ghosties and goblins dressing up in costume and having their picture taken and then of course scrapped! The Halloween kit is always my most downloaded kit of the year – so I’d say everyone has fun scrapping pics of the kids in costume (and the adults too!) This year I’ve tried to give you some mini page kits so you can put your pages together quickly. If an element has a number on it that means that it corresponds to that number background. Each background has a matching bow, button, tag and frame. The solids are burlap texture and have matching brads. Don’t let the doodled frames scare you, I’ve given you a photo mask for each one so you don’t have to crop and erase. The masks are also numbered to match the frames. The kit is full size 12X12, but there’s a download for a tagger size version also.
Here’s a preview of the papers

Here’s the whole kit and kaboodle – actually not all is shown here.

Blog Train Freebie

It’s the first of the month and here we are back with another blog train! This month we were asked to create a kit which supported a cause which is important to us. If you’ve been reading my blog you know I have a grandson in the US Navy. I’m very happy to report that he just returned recently from his second deployment to the Middle East safe and sound and even got to come to New Hampshire with us for a hike. This month’s kit is entitled “With Gratitude to the Military” . If you don’t have any military photos for layouts this kit could also be used for camping, boys or other outdoor layouts. Have fun with it and don’t forget the rest of the train will have different themes and some great kits so be sure to check them all out. Please say hello if you download either here on the blog or in 4shared.

Free SeaCreatures Kit and Blog Train

It’s August and this month’s theme for the Goodie Train is Sea Creatures. We all use the same color palette, so you can mix and match to your heart’s desire!  I started with the intention of making a mini kit, but the creatures were so much fun to make that it’s somewhere in between a mini and a full kit with 8 papers and 59 elements. I’ve set the downloads up in such a way that you can hopefully do what works best for you. Here are previews to help you decide with the downloads under each preview. The full kit download is available in both full (12X12) size or tagger size. All other downloads are full sized for 12X12 300dpi. I’ve just combined them so that you can choose fewer large downloads or several smaller downloads.

Finally here’s a layout I did with my SeaCreatures Kit – my SeaCreature is my grandson who is in the Navy and will be coming home soon from the Middle East – he’s the chef so he baked the “almost home” cake!

Free Mini – Star Spangled Happiness

Well I got back on the Goodie Train this month. The theme is the colors of the designer’s country. I’m USA so it’s the good old Red, White and Blue, but as you follow the train you will see other countries represented with other colors.

My kit has 7 solid, textured papers, 29 elements, 3 word art and 2 quick pages. I’ve also made it in tagger size – grab the downloads you want and then hop over to the Goodie Train blog and grab the others and have some fun.

Free Father’s Day Mini

Happy Father’s Day to all you dads and granddads out there! I hope you have a wonderful day and get some photos to scrap.

This year I’ve made a “masculine” feeling kit without specifying Father’s Day so you can use it year round to scrap photos of the men in your life.

The guys showing off the photo mask in the kit are mine – the kit is titled “Best of all He’s Mine”.

Enjoy and please remember to send everyone here to download and no direct sharing.

Looking for more??? Last years kit “Male Call” is still available HERE

I will be doing the blog train for July also – so come back on July 1st for a patriotic freebie!

Free Spring Mini Kit

Well, my iNSD gift for you is finally ready. I hope you saved some room on your EHD!

I’ve had a serious case of spring fever this year and sitting at the computer just isn’t working out for me these days. Here’s the poem that inspired this kit and describes exactly how I feel.

I Meant To Do My Work Today
by Richard LeGallienne

I meant to do my work today,
But a brown bird sang in the apple tree,
And a butterfly flitted across the field,
And all the leaves were calling me.
And the wind went sighing over the land,
Tossing the grasses to and fro,
And a rainbow held out its shining hand,
So what could I do but laugh and go?

So this spring follow your muse wherever it may take you and whatever you do enjoy!

I Meant To Do My Work Today

I should add that the coat hanger is not part of the kit, just part of the preview.

Happy iNSD everyone!

I know, you probably stopped by looking for a freebie since that’s what I do here. I haven’t forgotten you! I’m working on a mini kit, but it isn’t quite done yet. I hope to have it done by Monday – still working on elements and need a few more to make it complete.

Please stop by again and I promise you’ll like it – it’s a bright spring kit in blue, green, yellow and white. Come back to snag it!

Free Kit - Eclectic Eighties

Well it's the first of the month and that can only mean one thing. The goodie Train is back! This month we have flashback to the eighties. To me the eighties was all about the fashion - Madonna, Flashdance, aerobics outfits. That's the direction I went in this month for my contribution to the train.
I have the kit in both full size 12X12 300 dpi and tagger size. Download whichever version you'd like and have a blast and I'm sure whatever you make with this kit will be like TOTALLY AWESOME dude!

PS: My avatar photo is a flashback to the eighties too - think we had enough protective gear on???? That's what happens when you wait until you're old to rollerblade for the first time :)

Here's a better view of the papers - 22 total both wild prints and solids:

All the blog Links are on the GOODIE TRAIN main blog this month so head over there to grab the other contributions to this months train. There's a slide show of all the previews so you can get a peek at the great kits you're about to download.

Free Word Art Extra

Full kit is one post down:

There were a few sayings from the book that I thought would be great, versatile scrapbook sayings. Here they are as speech bubbles to use with any of your layouts you wish.

I also just downloaded the story for FREE as mp3 files - it's about 6 hours worth of the original Lewis Carroll story read by Michael York- you can get it HERE - they do ask for your name and email and you may get other newsletters from them, but I'm an audio book listener so it works for me.

It also seems I've created some confusion about my kit. I don't have it in a tagger size - just full size. If someone sends me the specs for taggers I'll offer my kits on these trains in both formats from now on. I have no problem with anyone making it into tagger size themselves, that's fine.

What I can send you is links to the kit broken down into smaller files (there are 4 elements files, and 6 papers files) and if you email me, I'd be happy to do that.

Here's the word art:

Free Kit - Down the Rabbit Hole Blog Train

                                        IT'S A TEA PARTY!
(train starts 3/1 - remember everyone is in different time zones)

Here's my kit for the goodie train for March and I have to tell you I probably had the most fun designing this kit of all the kits I've done (although I did have fun at Christmas this year).
This is a full size kit 12X12 300dpi. I'm working on a little more wordart, not sure when I'll get it done.
Download this kit and then hop on through that door in the tree and grab the other designers kits - you'll love them!
These are large downloads, so please drop me an email at  ( if you need smaller files and I'll be glad to zip them up for you.
We could have gone with either the the original (darker) version of the story or the lighter Disney version - I tried to give you the option by including some of each and some things that would work with all types of layouts. The new version coming out is definitely not for kids - has anyone seen it yet???Tim Burton - definitely dark! Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter - might go just to see that!
The stitching (flower and circle frame) is made to fit one inside the other so you can use them separately or together as you wish. Some collage papers and some solids and not so solids(plaids, glitter edges etc.) are included. There are 36 papers and 75 unique elements. HAVE FUN!
