Yeah! Suruha got it when she guessed the location as Lakes of the Clouds.
The Lakes of the Clouds are a set of small ponds located at the 5,032 ft col between Mount Monroe and Mount Washington in the White Mountains of the U.S. state of New Hampshire. The lakes form the source of the Ammonoosuc River, a tributary of the Connecticut River.
Suruha check out my store at SAS and email me the name of the kit you'd like and I'll get it to you right away. Thanks everyone for playing along - you made it fun!

Blog Hop Freebie still available below until the 20th!
Here's another photo of the location that isn't made into a background paper. My grandson standing there gives you a better idea as to size - the part of the water you can't see is about the same size as the part you can see and there's another body of water there about the same size or slightly larger.

Don't miss the blog hop freebie below!
The Blog hop Freebie will be here for one week and then it will be available in my store at SAS.
There's a free kit of your choice from my store for anyone who can guess the EXACT location of background #4.
Here's some hints: It's well known, it's in the state of New Hampshire and it's not easy to get to. When I was there it was October and it really wasn't that snowy - some of that snow is digital :). The name is 4 words long.
Okay - a few more clues, some of you are so close!
amsangel was close in name, but this is further north.
LJD has the right general area for location, but this is more specific.
One last hint - you can't drive to it - it's a 4 mile walk. I think the angle of this photo makes it look larger than it really is.

Welcome to Millstream Cottage. Grab your hot chocolate and I'll sing for you while you download Frosty The Snowman. If you look at what I came up with you'll know I grew up with the generation that each year watched the movie by Rankin - Bass, which if I'm not mistaken is still on every year.
Hope you enjoy your goodies and be very thankful you can't hear me sing!
There are two previews, but the papers are the same - 4 snowy backgrounds and 27 elements for you to make your own frosty scene.
Starting 12/22 this Kit is available in my SAS store for $1.50
You have a lot of stops to make, so bundle up and head on to the next stop and have fun!

Well I finally got my scanner to cooperate so I could share with you what I was able to buy with proceeds from the Navy Kits. I should get another statement soon so I'll probably be sending another one, but they probably won't get it in time for the holidays.
I'll share with you what the items were for two reasons, in case you ever want to send one out on your own and also because I want everyone to know that these are things these guys need out there that are not being provided for them - okay, don't get me started LOL! All of these items were on a list I received from the ship. They put together packages they call "shoe boxes", so I got enough to make up 6 good size boxes with some of everything they had on their list except the TP (called battle paper).
The only things I got them that weren't every day necessity items were a tin of popcorn and a couple of Pepperoni sticks, hopefully to be enjoyed at a holiday celebration.
Cotton swabs, Gold Bond Powder, Shampoo, snack crackers, Ricola cough drops, Cup O Noodles, bars of soap, baby wipes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss and deodorant.
So thanks so much to everyone who bought the kit - they will appreciate it and it will brighten their day to know someone from home is thinking of them!

Here's the next installment of the SAS newsletter/blog freebie. The papers are in the SAS newsletter which is always jam packed with freebies for you and there's still a few days to get in on the great challenges and grab those posting bonuses.
The elements are Here. I switched to file savr because I missed your comments. You don't really need to put in the code, just hit download now. Dotty is on vacation and Santa & the Mrs. decided it was time to Deck The Halls , included this week is a vintage tag from Amberpony Creates in 3 different versions- enjoy!
Don't miss the free frame below or the free qp on Amberpony's blog!
I have a new Navy kit in the store just in time for the holidays. A very Navy Christmas is a tribute to our Sailors serving away from home and their families this holiday season.
This kit has some Christmas elements added in Red, White and blue and also some awesome vintage Navy elements by Amberpony Creates. The 28 word mask frames from Softerimagegrl are still there too. At $3.00 it's a great value.
Like In The Navy Now, all proceeds (100% of your cost) will be spent to send every day items to the sailors on the USS Ramage.
I can't promise they will get there in time for the holidays now, but they may and they will still need these items when the holidays are over. They are currently in Bahrain and surrounding areas.
I've switched to file savr because I missed your comments! You don't really need to put in the code, just hit download now. Let me know if you have any problems. Here's the freebie frame:
So throw someone overboard and have some fun. This cute idea was Amberpony Creates and the water frame without the silver frame is included in the full kit. Hop over to her blog because she has another freebie for you from the kit!
I'm away celebrating the Thanksgiving Holiday and sent the boys one package before I left. I'll be scanning and posting the receipt early next week when I get back.

I'm afraid this post finds me very upset. When I created my Navy Kit I used some wonderful elements created by Lady Shannon of Memories Made Easy. I had her written permission to use her things as CU and if you have the kit, you know that several of the elements in there have her name on them and she is mentioned as a collaborator in the TOU.
Someone who knew nothing of our agreement used her name to accuse me of piracy, both here on my blog (post removed because it came from "anonymous") and to the administration at SAS. I'm not sure if there are posts in any of the forums out there.
If you did buy this kit please rest assured that 1. There was no piracy involved in the making of this kit. 2. 100% (I realized TOU says 75%, but decided to do 100%) of the proceeds will go toward Christmas boxes for the sailors on the USS Ramage. I will scan receipts when I make the purchases and post them here for everyone to see. Also if you did buy the kit you'll know that Lady Shannon was given full credit as a collaborator and named on several elements in the kit as the creator.
Do I have a personal interest here - yes, I do, and I also tried to be honest about that. My grandson is one of the sailors on the Ramage and he sent me several of the photos that I used in making papers for the kit (which were my original inspiration for the kit) The boxes will be addressed to the ship, not to him personally.
If I knew who did this I would address them personally, but since I have no idea I'm asking them through this blog to undo the damage they have done by checking with Lady Shannon and removing any posts they may have made to any forums and blogs - whoever you are, you must have quickly looked at the preview and you don't have the kit - I'll be glad to send you the whole kit so you can read the TOU and see the credits given. Just get in touch with me. Everything was done on the up and up here between all parties involved and you've created a problem for all of us.

Here it is Wednesday again and that means a jam packed newsletter is due out from Stone Accents Studio! This weekend I'm selling my whole store for 40% off (except the In The Navy Benefit Kit - please read below and you'll see why I'm not discounting that one). This sale will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday - so grab some bargains and relax and scrap this weekend! Don't forget my CT Call is still on - I accept guest CT's one month at a time too :)
Here's this weeks free mini. This week it's "Into The Woods" which is where I wish I was going as I usually do at this time of year, but my "hiking buddy" is overseas and I need to find a new hiking companion. This will definitely coordinate with last weeks "The Hidden Path" - that one was all about the leaves, this one's more about the trees. Download the papers in the SAS Newsletter and click on the image for the elements. Enjoy and as always please no hot linking or direct sharing.

Click the image to download your sampler. Included are 1 scenic background, 1 red ricrac, 1 tag with ricrac, 1 medal of honor and a full "button" alpha with upper and lower case, numbers, punctuation and blanks. Sash and button in upper right corner are from the full kit (sorry jar not included).

I'm so excited, my new kit was just released in my SAS Store and this one was a labor of love for me. It's a collab kit with Softerimagegrl who made the frames and Lady Shannon who made a lot of the elements and some of the overlays for the background papers! It's only $3.00 and 75% of that will be used to make holiday boxes of every day items for the sailors on the USS Ramage currently serving in the Persian Gulf. I'll be posting receipts in a couple of weeks so those purchasing the kit can see what the $ is spent on. I have a small add-on I'm working on that I hope to have up later today. Here's the previews - kit is all inclusive and not all elements are shown in all colors. I have lots more sleeve ranks in there. Do you need something for a military layout that's not in here - email me at email@example.com and I'll make if for you if it's within my capability.
This weeks free mini is The Hidden Path - it's all about the leaves
The Papers will be available in today's SAS Newsletter Click on the image for the elements and enjoy! Don't forget my CT CALL!

Here's this weeks newsletter/blog freebie - I hope you like it! I'm now taking suggestions/requests for these weekly kits if you have something special in mind you need for your stash of digi scrap supplies.
Here's this weeks mini which I thought would work nicely with any fall photos or other fall kits you might have. Plaid N Paisley, two of my favorite things to work with. Elements are deep copper. I also have my Falling Into Autumn kit now in the store for 10% off making it only $1.80 which will coordinate nicely with this one. I got this comment on 4 shared from someone calling herself "M" and I loved it and wanted to share it with you.
"Thanks! I especially love water lilies because they are part of my Chinese name. My dad picked it because he thought it was amazing that such a beautiful, white flower could flourish amid swampy waters and hoped that his daughter would likewise flourish and always stay true to her values despite negative pressure she might find around her to not do what is right."
It's so true, when I kayak to the weediest, swampiest part of our lake, that's where the water lilies are the prettiest and actually where the original photos for these papers were taken.
Are you missing out by not downloading this kit? It's not too late to start - there will be downloads available every day for the rest of the month. HERE
While you're there, don't forget the 25% off sale going on in my store all month long.

Kel told me she missed day 9 of the SAS Download a Day. That was the file that contained the water lilly papers (one shown in my layout below) that I made the flower cluster to go with. Kel, (or anyone else) if you email me at email@example.com I'll send you the zip. Just put day9 in the subject. I'd hate you to have a little lonely flower cluster and no background paper to go with it!
Friday, September 12, 2008
First of all I'd like to thank you for your wonderful comments, both here and on 4 shared - I know you've heard it from designers before, but it does make our day!
I have a little something for you today - it's an add on to my part of the SAS Download a Day (DAD). My 4th download which I believe was day 9 of the DAD was made with photos I took of Waterlillies out on the lake. I loved the papers, but when it came to extracting flowers from my photos I wasn't happy with the results. I was disappointed because to me that part of the kit really needed those flowers. I got a couple of singles, but was unable to get a cluster without losing too much detail. Finally yesterday I found some pix that were "legal" for me to use and I got the extraction. Hope you like it. The format is png and there's also a single bud for you. I put together a quick layout with a family photo also taken that same day so you could see what it looks like.
I left it a little larger than I normally would so you could see it.
HERE is the download for the waterlilly cluster and bud.
The DAD is now up to day 12 - so get in there and get this whole wonderful kit. Now available in the
SAS Store under SAS gifts.

Sharon from Texas left me a comment and said she was having trouble unzipping download #1. I tested it and I had no problem. Anyone else having problems?
Sharon (and anyone else having a problem) email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll email you the zip file - it's 2 background papers. I can also compress it more if they're too big and that's what's giving you the problem. You might want to consider whether or not you plan to print them and the quality of the printer.
The other 3 parts of this kit are still available in previous posts, so if you didn't grab them before don't miss them!
Here's part 4 of my newsletter/blog freebie Summer Sunset mini kit. This is the final part of this kit. I went a little more muted this week as we're getting closer to real fall weather and photos and also Summer Sunset could mean the Sunset of Summer lol.
I sort of picked up on the SAS party theme and gave you sequins, bling ribbon and wine to keep the festive spirit going!
You really won't want to miss the SAS Newsletter this week. It's got the scoop on all of the big Birthday Bash happenings - you're not too late to join the party, but don't wait too long and miss all the fun. The first part of this weeks mini is in there. Here's the blog portion of the freebie.
Download #1 is HERE
Download #2 is HERE
Starting next week I'll be making different page kits each week with a different palette and theme. So much to cover this time of year, Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving - is there something you're looking for? Let me know because it will vary week to week.

Here's another free quickpage made with the SAS Download a Day kit - this includes day 5. If you haven't gotten over there to download yet, hurry before you miss any of it. Julie moved it to another server so that it's much faster now. Day 8 has now been added and you can get all of it HERE. After day 8 all links will be posted in the store and available for 3 days.
And here's the quickpage in png format for you:

There have been so many people taking part in the Birthday Bash at SAS that they had to move the Download a Day to another server.
HERE is the post with the new links for days 1-5. If you still have trouble getting your download, please let either me or the SAS admin team know.
I made you a free quickpage out of the Download a day for day 3 - the plaid paper on the frames is from day 2. All items in this layout were designed by Skrapper Digitals (Sherah Kraan). All of the downloads so far are still up because the traffic generated from the Birthday Bash has slowed the site down somewhat. They will all be up for the week, so don't miss any of the huge, beautiful mega kit.
Here's your quickpage I hope you enjoy it!

Before all the SAS-y excitement starts I want to thank Mitsybelle for this wonderful award. I really want to pass it on, but that will have to wait for now.
I also got tagged by 2 people Candee and Nadine (scrappin mama), but I'm trying to think of 7 interesting things I didn't tell you in my last tags, so I'll be back with that too.
